Lyme youth make Bedbug the Musical super sustainable

02 Mar 2016

Lyme Youth Theatre are a finalist in the BIG Ideas Challenge – a CLS initiative to get young people engaged in finding practical solutions to improve the environment in their community.  They are making their upcoming musical Bedbug as sustainable as possible.

Bedbug is a raucous musical based on Vladimir Mayakovsky’s 1929 satire on the distrust of authority and the threat of the independent voice to the socialist system during a time of growing disillusion with the Soviet Union.
Bedbug will be performed at the Marine Theatre in Lyme between 9th and 12th March,

There will be a post show talk on 10th March where the young people will be talking about how they have incorporated sustainability in the show.
